Facebook Pixel

Track user interactions and events in your embeddables using Facebook Pixel through the Conversions API for campaign optimization.

Setting Up Facebook Pixel with Embeddable

You can track user interactions and events in your components by connecting Facebook Pixel through the Conversions API. This allows you to measure performance, optimize conversions, and sync data with your Facebook Ads account.

How to Connect Facebook Pixel

1. Navigate to Integrations

From the main editor screen, click the Integrations icon (the plug) in the top-right corner.

2. Select Facebook Pixel

Find Facebook Pixel in the integrations list and click Connect.

3. Choose or Create a Credential

In the Select credential dropdown, you can:

  • Pick an existing credential (if you've already connected Facebook Pixel in this project).
  • Or click Create New Credential if this is your first time.

4. Create a New Credential (First-Time Setup)

If creating a new credential, fill in the following fields:

  • Credential Name: Give your credential a recognizable name (e.g., "Marketing Pixel").
  • Description (Optional): Add a note if needed.
  • Pixel ID (Required): Enter your Facebook Pixel ID.
  • Access Token (Required): Enter the Access Token from your Facebook account.

Click Create Credential to save.

5. Connect the Credential

Return to the dropdown, select the newly created credential, and click Connect.

Testing Your Integration

Once connected, your component will automatically send interaction events to Facebook Pixel. You can test events by:

  • Using the Meta Pixel Helper browser extension.
  • Checking the Test Events section inside the Facebook Events Manager.

Best Practices

  • Use separate credentials for different projects if you manage multiple Pixels.
  • Always keep your Access Token secure — never expose it in public code.
  • Confirm that your Pixel is firing correctly before launching ad campaigns.
