LinkedIn Pixel
Track conversions from your embeddables using LinkedIn Pixel and the LinkedIn Conversions API for campaign optimization.
Setting Up LinkedIn Pixel with Embeddable
You can track conversions from your components by connecting LinkedIn Pixel using the LinkedIn Conversions API. This allows you to measure campaign performance, optimize your ads, and capture key conversion events directly inside LinkedIn Campaign Manager.
How to Connect LinkedIn Pixel
1. Navigate to Integrations
From the main editor screen, click the Integrations icon (the plug) in the top-right corner.
2. Select LinkedIn Pixel
Find LinkedIn Pixel in the integrations list and click Connect.
3. Choose or Create a Credential
In the Select credential dropdown, you can:
- Select an existing credential if you've already connected LinkedIn Pixel in this project.
- Or click Create New Credential if this is your first time.
4. Create a New Credential (First-Time Setup)
If creating a new credential, fill in the following fields:
- Credential Name: A recognizable name for this connection (e.g., "LinkedIn Ads Pixel").
- Description (Optional): Add a short note if needed.
- Access Token (Required): Your LinkedIn Ads API access token.
- Ad Account ID (Required): The ID of the LinkedIn ad account you want to track conversions for.
Click Create Credential to save.
5. Connect the Credential
Return to the dropdown, select your newly created credential, and click Connect.
Testing Your Integration
Once connected, events from your component will be sent to LinkedIn Pixel. To verify:
- Log in to LinkedIn Campaign Manager.
- Navigate to Analyze > Conversion Tracking.
- Check if your conversion events appear in reporting.
Best Practices
- Use a dedicated Ad Account ID for each project or campaign.
- Keep your Access Token secure — never share it or expose it in client-side code.
- Test your integration with a few conversions before scaling campaigns.
- Make sure your LinkedIn account has conversion tracking enabled in Campaign Manager.
